Its isnad is daif. Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Rites, chapter on sacrificial animals being driven from before the miqat, hadith 3102, from the hadith of Yahya bin Yaman through this same route. Sufyan Thawri used ambiguous transmission wording, and there is another defect in it as well.
