When the Prophet ﷺ arrived in Mecca, he entered the Mosque, touched the Black Stone, and proceeded to its right. He jogged the first three rounds and walked the remaining four. Then he came to the Station of Ibrahim and recited, "And take the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer" [Baqarah 2:125]. He prayed two units there, with the Station between himself and the House. After the two units, he returned to the Black Stone and touched it, then went out toward Safa. I believe he recited, "Indeed, Safa and Marwa are among the symbols of Allah" [Baqarah 2:158].
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا يحيى بن آدم أخبرنا سفيان الثوري عن جعفر بن محمد عن أبيه
لما قدم النبي ﷺ مكة دخل المسجد فاستلم الحجر ثم مضى على يمينه فرمل ثلاثا ومشى أربعا ثم أتى المقام فقال {واتخذوا من مقام إبراهيم مصلى} فصلى ركعتين والمقام بينه وبين البيت ثم أتى الحجر بعد الركعتين فاستلمه ثم خرج إلى الصفا أظنه قال {إن الصفا والمروة من شعائر الله}
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter on the Hajj of the Prophet ﷺ, hadith no. 1218/150, from the hadith of Yahya bin Adam, with the same chain.On this topic, there is also a narration from Ibn Umar [Bukhari, no. 1603, and Muslim, no. 1261].
