The Prophet ﷺ performed ramal from the Black Stone back to the Black Stone for three rounds and walked the remaining four.
حدثنا علي بن خشرم أخبرنا عبد الله بن وهب عن مالك بن أنس عن جعفر بن محمد عن أبيه
أن النبي ﷺ رمل من الحجر إلى الحجر ثلاثا ومشى أربعا
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim also narrated it in the Hajj, chapter on the recommendation of striding briskly (raml) during tawaf, in 1/364 (Yahya) and in another version, hadith 1263, from the hadith of Ibn Wahb through the same route, and it appears in the Muwatta, in the chapter on Umrah, in the section from Ibn Umar [Bukhari, hadith 1604, and Muslim, hadith 1261].
