Some people from the tribe of Urayna came to Madinah but found its climate unhealthy. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent them out to where the camels of charity were kept and said, "Drink from their milk and their urine."But they killed the shepherd of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, drove off the camels, and apostatized from Islam. They were brought before the Prophet ﷺ, who ordered that their hands and feet be cut off on opposite sides, their eyes branded with hot nails, and that they be cast out onto the lava field of Harrah.Anas said, "I saw one of them clawing at the ground with his mouth until they died." Hammad sometimes said, "biting the ground with his mouth until they died."
