The Prophet ﷺ sent out a crier through the mountain passes of Mecca to announce, "The charity of fitr is obligatory upon every Muslim, male or female, free or slave, young or old. Two mudd of wheat, or a saa of any other foodstuff."
حدثنا عقبة بن مكرم البصري حدثنا سالم بن نوح عن ابن جريج
أن النبي ﷺ بعث مناديا في فجاج مكة ألا إن صدقة الفطر واجبة على كل مسلم ذكر أو أنثى حر أو عبد صغير أو كبير مدان من قمح أو سواه صاع من طعام
Its isnad is daif. Daraqutni narrated it, 2/140, no. 2061, from the hadith of Salim bin Nuh with the same wording, and Ali bin Salih followed him in narrating it. Ibn Jurayj used "an" [without stating direct hearing].
