The Messenger of Allah ﷺ established that on crops watered by the sky, by springs, or by underground roots, a tenth is due, and on crops watered by irrigation, half a tenth is due.
حدثنا أحمد بن الحسن حدثنا سعيد بن أبي مريم حدثنا ابن وهب حدثني يونس عن ابن شهاب
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه سن فيما سقت السماء والعيون أو كان عثريا العشر وفيما سقي بالنضح نصف العشر
Bukhari also reported it in the chapter on zakat, section on the tithe on what is watered by rain or flowing water, hadith no. 1483, from the hadith of Saeed bin Abu Maryam, with the same chain.
