The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On what is watered by the sky and springs, a tenth is due, and on what is irrigated by drawing water, half a tenth."
حدثنا أبو موسى الأنصاري حدثنا عاصم بن عبد العزيز المدني حدثنا الحارث بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ذباب عن سليمان بن يسار وبسر بن سعيد
قال رسول الله ﷺ فيما سقت السماء والعيون العشر وفيما سقي بالنضح نصف العشر
[Its isnad is hasan]. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on the charity due on crops and fruits, hadith no. 1816, from the hadith of Abu Musa, through Ishaq bin Musa Ansari.There are also narrations on this subject from Anas bin Malik [Ibn Najjar, as in Tuhfat al-Ahwazi, 13/2], Ibn Umar [to come, 640], and Jabir [Muslim, hadith no. 981].
