Agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). Muslim narrated it in the Book of Eid Prayers, chapter on the permissibility of women going out on the two Eids, etc., no. 890, from the hadith of Hisham bin Hassan, and Bukhari, nos. 971, 980, from the hadith of Hafsa, with similar wording. See the previous hadith.On this subject there is also a report from Ibn Abbas [Ibn Majah, no. 1309] and from Jabir [Ahmad 3/363].The hadith, "Had the Messenger of Allah seen what the women have introduced..." etc., is agreed upon, Bukhari, no. 869, and Muslim, no. 445.
