The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bring out the young virgins, the maidens of marriageable age, the women kept behind curtains, and the menstruating women on the two Eids. As for the menstruating women, they would keep away from the prayer area but witness the gathering of the Muslims and their supplications.One of the women asked, "Messenger of Allah, what if one of them does not have an outer garment?"He replied, "Then let her sister lend her one of her own garments."

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يخرج الأبكار والعواتق وذوات الخدور والحيض في العيدين فأما الحيض فيعتزلن المصلى ويشهدن دعوة المسلمين قالت إحداهن يا رسول الله إن لم يكن لها جلباب قال فلتعرها أختها من جلابيبها
