I saw the Prophet ﷺ wipe his face with the edge of his garment after performing ablution.

[Its chain is daif]. Bayhaqi (1/236) also narrated it through Qutayba by this route. Rushdin and Ibn Anam are both daif, as stated in Taqrib and elsewhere.The report from Zuhri, "I only dislike the towel after wudu..." and so on, has a daif chain. Muhammad bin Humayd Razi is daif according to the stronger view.
