The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then says, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. O Allah, make me among those who repent and make me among those who purify themselves,' the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him, and he may enter through whichever of them he wishes."
Grading, [Daif] Abu Idris did not hear from Umar, and Abu Uthman is Saeed bin Hani (Musnad Faruq by Ibn Kathir, 1/111), and both of them narrate from Jubayr bin Nufayr, from Uqba bin Amir (Muslim, no. 234b). The chain has a defect, and the hadith is sahih without this addition, "O Allah, make me among those who repent, and make me among those who purify themselves."There is also a report on this topic from Anas [Ibn Majah, no. 469, and Ahmad, 269/3, and others], and from Uqba bin Amir [Muslim, no. 234, and Ibn Abu Shayba, 3/1, 4].
