Sourcing, its chain of transmission is daif. Ibn Jawzi narrated it in Mawduat (1/349) through the hadith of Muhammad bin Umar bin Rumi, with the same wording, and it has corroborating narrations, all of which are daif.Sharik's explicit statement of having heard it has not been established. It was narrated from him by Abdul-Hameed bin Bahr, who used to steal hadith.On this topic there is also a report from Ibn Abbas [Hakim (3/126, 127) and Ibn Jawzi in Mawduat (1/350)].
