Abu Musa Ashari reported,

I went out with the Prophet ﷺ and he entered an orchard belonging to the Ansar, where he relieved himself. He said to me, "Abu Musa, guard the gate for me, and do not let anyone enter without permission."Then a man came and knocked at the gate.I asked, "Who is this?"He replied, "Abu Bakr."I said, "Messenger of Allah, this is Abu Bakr seeking permission to enter."He said, "Let him in, and give him the glad tidings of Paradise."So he entered, and I gave him the glad tidings of Paradise.Then another man came and knocked at the gate.I asked, "Who is this?"He replied, "Umar."I said, "Messenger of Allah, this is Umar seeking permission to enter."He said, "Open the gate for him, and give him the glad tidings of Paradise."So I opened the gate, he entered, and I gave him the glad tidings of Paradise.Then another man came and knocked at the gate.I asked, "Who is this?"He replied, "Uthman."I said, "Messenger of Allah, this is Uthman seeking permission to enter."He said, "Open the gate for him, and give him the glad tidings of Paradise, along with a trial that will befall him."

عن أبي موسى الأشعري قال

انطلقت مع النبي ﷺ فدخل حائطا للأنصار فقضى حاجته فقال لي يا أبا موسى أملك علي الباب فلا يدخلن علي أحد إلا بإذن فجاء رجل يضرب الباب فقلت من هذا فقال أبو بكر فقلت يا رسول الله هذا أبو بكر يستأذن قال ائذن له وبشره بالجنة فدخل وبشرته بالجنة وجاء رجل آخر فضرب الباب فقلت من هذا فقال عمر فقلت يا رسول الله هذا عمر يستأذن قال افتح له وبشره بالجنة ففتحت الباب ودخل وبشرته بالجنة فجاء رجل آخر فضرب الباب فقلت من هذا قال عثمان فقلت يا رسول الله هذا عثمان يستأذن قال افتح له وبشره بالجنة على بلوى تصيبه
