The Prophet ﷺ prayed facing his camel, or his mount, and he used to pray on his mount whichever direction it took him.
حدثنا سفيان بن وكيع حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
أن النبي ﷺ صلى إلى بعيره أو راحلته وكان يصلي على راحلته حيث ما توجهت به
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on Praying in the Places Where Camels Rest, hadith no. 430, and Muslim, hadith no. 502, both from the hadith of Abu Khalid Ahmar, with the same wording.
