The Prophet ﷺ, commenting on the verse "The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds" [Mutaffifin 83:6], said, "One of them will stand in sweat up to the middle of his ears."He said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith." And on this topic there is also a narration from Abu Hurairah.
حدثنا هناد حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن ابن عون عن نافع
عن النبي ﷺ {يوم يقوم الناس لرب العالمين} قال يقوم أحدهم في الرشح إلى أنصاف أذنيه قال هذا حديث حسن صحيح وفيه عن أبي هريرة
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Softening of Hearts, chapter, "The saying of Allah Almighty, 'Do they not think that they will be resurrected for a tremendous day'..." etc., no. 6531, and Muslim, no. 2862, from the hadith of Isa bin Yunus through this same chain. It is also narrated from Abu Hurairah by Bukhari, no. 6533, and Muslim, no. 2863.
