Its chain of transmission is daif. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Drinks, chapter on the prohibition of wine, hadith 3670, and Nasai in 8/286, 287, hadith 5542, from the hadith of Israil, with the same chain. Amr bin Shurahbil Abu Maysara did not hear from Umar, as stated by Abu Zura, and the hadith of Muslim (3032) and Bukhari (4619) suffices in its place.
