Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

There is no verse in the Quran more beloved to me than this verse, "Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating partners with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills" [Nisa 4:48].He said, this is a hasan gharib hadith. Abu Fakhitah's name is Saeed bin Alaqah. Thuwayr's kunya is Abu Jahm, and he was a Kufan from the Tabieen. He heard from Ibn Umar and Ibn Zubayr. Ibn Mahdi used to speak slightly critically of him.

عن علي بن أبي طالب قال

ما في القرآن آية أحب إلي من هذه الآية {إن الله لا يغفر أن يشرك به ويغفر ما دون ذلك لمن يشاء} قال هذا حديث حسن غريب وأبو فاختة اسمه سعيد بن علاقة وثوير يكنى أبا جهم وهو رجل كوفي من التابعين وقد سمع من ابن عمر وابن الزبير وابن مهدي كان يغمزه قليلا
