Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

On the day of Awtas, we captured women who had husbands among the polytheists. Some men among us were reluctant to be intimate with them, so Allah revealed, "And married women, except those whom your right hands possess" [Nisa 4:24].

عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال

لما كان يوم أوطاس أصبنا نساء لهن أزواج في المشركين فكرههن رجال منا فأنزل الله {والمحصنات من النساء إلا ما ملكت أيمانكم}
