The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have several names. I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad. I am al-Mahi, the one through whom Allah erases disbelief. I am al-Hashir, the one at whose feet people will be gathered. And I am al-Aqib, the one after whom there is no prophet."
حدثنا سعيد بن عبد الرحمن المخزومي حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن لي أسماء أنا محمد وأنا أحمد وأنا الماحي الذي يمحو الله بي الكفر وأنا الحاشر الذي يحشر الناس على قدمي وأنا العاقب الذي ليس بعدي نبي
Agreed upon, and Muslim reported it in the Book of Virtues, chapter on his names, hadith 2354, from the hadith of Sufyan Ibn Uyayna, and Bukhari, hadith 3532, from the hadith of Zuhri, on the same. There is also a narration on this subject from Huzaifa [previously mentioned: 366, 367].
