The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah loves to see the marks of His blessing upon His servant."
حدثنا الحسن بن محمد الزعفراني حدثنا عفان بن مسلم حدثنا همام عن قتادة
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله يحب أن يرى أثر نعمته على عبده
[Sahih]Its takhrij, Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Clothing, chapter on wearing what you wish as long as it does not involve extravagance or vanity, hadith 3605, and Nasai, 5/79, hadith 2560, from the hadith of Hammam with the same wording. Hakim graded it sahih, 4/135, and Dhahabi agreed with him, but its chain is daif. Bukhari mentioned it without a chain (muallaq) at the beginning of the Book of Clothing. It has many corroborating narrations, among them what Ahmad narrated, 4/438, with a sahih chain. On this subject there are also narrations from Abu Ahwas, from his father [previously mentioned, 2006], from Imran bin Husayn [Ahmad, 4/438], and from Ibn Masud [Tahawi in Mushkil Athar, 4/151].
