I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a bright moonlit night, and I kept looking at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and at the moon. He was wearing a red garment, and to me he was more beautiful than the moon.

Ashath bin Sawwar is daif, yet Hakim graded it sahih (4/186), and Dhahabi agreed with him (!).The hadith of Shubah (and Thawri) is agreed upon, Bukhari, no. 3551, 5848 and elsewhere, and Muslim, no. 2337.The hadith of Waki was narrated by Muslim, no. 2337/92, and he also narrated it, no. 91/337, from Muhammad bin Bashshar, through the same chain.On this subject there is also a report from Bara [Bukhari, no. 3551, and Muslim, no. 2337] and from Abu Juhayfa [mentioned earlier, no. 197].
