Ali reported that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wearing two green cloaks.

رأيت رسول الله ﷺ وعليه بردان أخضران
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Reference: Nasai narrated it, 3/185, no. 1573, Book of the Two Eid Prayers, Chapter on Adornment for the Eid Sermon, from Muhammad bin Bashshar, and Abu Dawud, no. 4206, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Iyad, with this wording. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih in al-Isabah, 4/70, and Ibn Hibban, no. 1522, and Ibn Jarud, no. 770, and Hakim, 2/426, 607, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
