The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The perfume suitable for men is one whose scent is apparent but whose color is hidden, and the perfume suitable for women is one whose color is apparent but whose scent is hidden."Ali bin Hujr narrated to us, Ismail bin Ibrahim informed us, from Jareeri, from Abu Nadra, from at-Tufawi, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, something similar in meaning.
