The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not lawful for a man to separate two people without their permission."
حدثنا سويد أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرنا أسامة بن زيد حدثني عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يحل للرجل أن يفرق بين اثنين إلا بإذنهما
[Its isnad is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in "Al-Adab," chapter on a man sitting between two men without their permission, no. 4845, from the hadith of Usama bin Zayd through the same route.
