A man sat down in the middle of a circle, so Hudhayfah said, "Cursed by the tongue of Muhammad," or, "Allah has cursed by the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ anyone who sits in the middle of the circle."
حدثنا سويد أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرنا شعبة عن قتادة
أن رجلا قعد وسط حلقة فقال حذيفة ملعون على لسان محمد أو لعن الله على لسان محمد ﷺ من قعد وسط الحلقة
[Its chain is daif due to a break in transmission] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Manners, Chapter on Sitting in the Middle of a Circle, no. 4826, from the hadith of Qatada via this route. Abu Majliz did not meet Huzaifa, as stated by Shuba (Jami Tahsil, p. 296).
