He prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and in his bowing he would say, "Glory be to my Lord, the Great," and in his prostration, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High." He never came to a verse of mercy without pausing to ask for it, and he never came to a verse of punishment without pausing to seek refuge from it.
قال حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن شعبة نحوه وقد روي عن حذيفة هذا الحديث من غير هذا الوجه أنه صلى بالليل مع النبي ﷺ فذكر الحديث
