The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Between a servant and disbelief lies the abandonment of prayer."
حدثنا هناد حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي الزبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ بين العبد وبين الكفر ترك الصلاة
[Sahih]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of the Sunnah, Chapter on refuting Irja, no. 4678, from the hadith of Waki, and Muslim narrated it, no. 82, from the hadith of Abu Zubayr, with it.
