Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah rejoices more over the repentance of one of you than a man in a vast, desolate, perilous land who has his mount with him carrying his provisions, food, drink, and all he needs. He loses it and goes out searching for it until, when death overtakes him, he says, 'Let me return to the place where I lost it and die there.' So he returns to his spot, and his eyes are overcome by sleep. When he wakes up, there is his mount beside his head, with his food, drink, and all he needs upon it."
