The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been made to fear for the sake of Allah as no one else has been made to fear, and I have been harmed for the sake of Allah as no one else has been harmed. Thirty days and nights have passed over me during which Bilal and I had no food that any living creature could eat, except for what Bilal could conceal under his armpit."
حدثنا عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن حدثنا روح بن أسلم أبو حاتم البصري حدثنا حماد بن سلمة حدثنا ثابت
قال رسول الله ﷺ لقد أخفت في الله وما يخاف أحد ولقد أوذيت في الله وما يؤذى أحد ولقد أتت علي ثلاثون من بين يوم وليلة وما لي ولبلال طعام يأكله ذو كبد إلا شيء يواريه إبط بلال
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Ibn Majah narrated it in Muqaddimah, chapter on the merit of Salman, Abu Dharr, and Miqdad, hadith 151, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama with the same wording, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 2528.
