The Prophet ﷺ stood up to deliver a sermon and said, "People, false testimony has been made equal to associating partners with Allah." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited, "So avoid the abomination of idols, and avoid false speech" [Hajj 22:30].
حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا مروان بن معاوية عن سفيان بن زياد الأسدي عن فاتك بن فضالة
أن النبي ﷺ قام خطيبا فقال يا أيها الناس عدلت شهادة الزور إشراكا بالله ثم قرأ رسول الله ﷺ {فاجتنبوا الرجس من الأوثان واجتنبوا قول الزور}
Its isnad is daif. Ahmad also narrated it in 4/178, 322, from Marwan bin Muawiya with the same wording, and he made explicit that he heard it directly.Fatik's status is unknown (Taqrib).It has a daif corroborating narration, see the following hadith.
