Fatimah bint Qays reported,

The Prophet of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit and laughed, then said, "Tamim al-Dari has told me something that delighted me, so I wanted to share it with you. He told me that some people from Palestine boarded a ship at sea, and the waves tossed them about until they were cast onto one of the islands of the sea. There they encountered a creature, heavily haired with its hair flowing loose.They asked, 'What are you?'It replied, 'I am al-Jassasa.'They said, 'Then tell us.'It answered, 'I will neither tell you nor ask you for news. But go to the far end of the village, for there is one there who will tell you and ask you for news.'So we went to the far end of the village, and there was a man bound with chains.He said, 'Tell me about the spring of Zughar.'We said, 'It is full and overflowing.'He said, 'Tell me about the lake.'We said, 'It is full and overflowing.'He said, 'Tell me about the palm trees of Baysan, between Jordan and Palestine. Have they borne fruit?'We said, 'Yes.'He said, 'Tell me about the Prophet. Has he been sent?'We said, 'Yes.'He said, 'Tell me how people respond to him.'We said, 'They hasten to him.'Then he gave such a leap that he nearly broke free.We asked, 'And what are you?'He said, 'I am the Dajjal. I shall enter every city except Tayba, and Tayba is Madinah.'"

أن نبي الله ﷺ صعد المنبر فضحك فقال إن تميما الداري حدثني بحديث ففرحت فأحببت أن أحدثكم حدثني أن ناسا من أهل فلسطين ركبوا سفينة في البحر فجالت بهم حتى قذفتهم في جزيرة من جزائر البحر فإذا هم بدابة لباسة ناشرة شعرها فقالوا ما أنت قالت أنا الجساسة قالوا فأخبرينا قالت لا أخبركم ولا أستخبركم ولكن ائتوا أقصى القرية فإن ثم من يخبركم ويستخبركم فأتينا أقصى القرية فإذا رجل موثق بسلسلة فقال أخبروني عن عين زغر قلنا ملأى تدفق قال أخبروني عن البحيرة قلنا ملأى تدفق قال أخبروني عن نخل بيسان الذي بين الأردن وفلسطين هل أطعم قلنا نعم قال أخبروني عن النبي هل بعث قلنا نعم قال أخبروني كيف الناس إليه قلنا سراع قال فنزى نزوة حتى كاد قلنا فما أنت قال أنا الدجال وإنه يدخل الأمصار كلها إلا طيبة وطيبة المدينة
