The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Khosrau perishes, there will be no Khosrau after him, and when Caesar perishes, there will be no Caesar after him. By the One in whose hand my soul is, their treasures will surely be spent in the cause of Allah."
حدثنا سعيد بن عبد الرحمن حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا هلك كسرى فلا كسرى بعده وإذا هلك قيصر فلا قيصر بعده والذي نفسي بيده لتنفقن كنوزهما في سبيل الله
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Muslim reported it in Kitab al-Fitan, chapter "The Hour will not come until a man passes by another man's grave, etc.", hadith no. 2918, from the narration of Sufyan bin Uyayna, and Bukhari, hadith no. 3618, from the narration of Zuhri.
