I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man asked him, "Tell us, what if we have rulers over us who deny us our rights yet demand their own rights from us?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Listen and obey, for they bear the burden of what is placed upon them, and you bear the burden of what is placed upon you."
حدثنا الحسن بن علي الخلال حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا شعبة عن سماك بن حرب
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ ورجل سأله فقال أرأيت إن كان علينا أمراء يمنعونا حقنا ويسألونا حقهم فقال رسول الله ﷺ اسمعوا وأطيعوا فإنما عليهم ما حملوا وعليكم ما حملتم
