He used to say regarding this hadith, "A man wakes up a believer and goes to bed a disbeliever, or goes to bed a believer and wakes up a disbeliever." He explained, "A man wakes up holding the blood, honor, and wealth of his brother as inviolable, then by evening considers them permissible to violate. Or he goes to bed holding the blood, honor, and wealth of his brother as inviolable, then by morning considers them permissible to violate."

كان يقول في هذا الحديث يصبح الرجل مؤمنا ويمسي كافرا ويمسي مؤمنا ويصبح كافرا قال يصبح الرجل محرما لدم أخيه وعرضه وماله ويمسي مستحلا له ويمسي محرما لدم أخيه وعرضه وماله ويصبح مستحلا له
