The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand my soul rests, the Hour will not come until wild beasts speak to humans, until a man is spoken to by the tip of his whip and the strap of his sandal, and until his thigh informs him of what his family did in his absence."
[Sahih]. Hakim narrated it, 4/467, from the hadith of Waki, and Ahmad, 3/83, 84, from the hadith of Qasim bin Fadl, with the same wording. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2109, and Hakim said it meets the criteria of Muslim, and Dhahabi agreed with him. There is also a report on this subject from Abu Hurairah [Bukhari, no. 3471, and Muslim, no. 2388].
