The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever visits a sick person or visits a brother for the sake of Allah, a caller calls out to him, 'You have done well, your walk has been blessed, and you have secured for yourself a dwelling in Paradise.'"
حدثنا محمد بن بشار والحسين بن أبي كبشة البصري قالا حدثنا يوسف بن يعقوب السدوسي حدثنا أبو سنان القسملي هو الشامي عن عثمان بن أبي سودة
قال رسول الله ﷺ من عاد مريضا أو زار أخا له في الله ناداه مناد أن طبت وطاب ممشاك وتبوأت من الجنة منزلا
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ibn Majah also recorded it in the Book of Funerals, chapter on what has been mentioned about the reward of one who visits the sick, hadith 1443, from Muhammad bin Bashshar with the same wording, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 712, but he has a strange error in naming Abu Sinan, who is Isa bin Sinan, daif as stated in Taqrib and elsewhere.As for the hadith of Hammad bin Salama, Muslim recorded it, hadith 2567, in the Book of Righteousness and Maintaining Ties, chapter 12, but it contains nothing that supports this narration.
