The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every act of kindness is charity. Among acts of kindness is meeting your brother with a cheerful face and pouring from your bucket into your brother's vessel."There are also narrations on this topic from Abu Dharr.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا المنكدر بن محمد بن المنكدر عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ كل معروف صدقة وإن من المعروف أن تلقى أخاك بوجه طلق وأن تفرغ من دلوك في إناء أخيك وفي الباب عن أبي ذر
Sourcing, [sahih]. Ahmad reported it, 3/360, from Qutayba with the same chain, and its chain is daif, but Bukhari reported it, no. 6021, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Munkadir with the same chain, and the hadith has supporting narrations.There is also a narration on this subject from Abu Dharr, mentioned earlier at 1956 and coming later at 1987, and in Muslim, no. 1006.
