The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no envy except in two cases. A man whom Allah has given wealth, and he spends from it throughout the hours of the night and the hours of the day, and a man whom Allah has given the Quran, and he stands with it in prayer throughout the hours of the night and the hours of the day."
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of the Prayer of Travelers, Chapter on the Merit of One Who Recites the Quran and Teaches It, etc., hadith no. 815, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna with the same wording. It has also been narrated from Ibn Masud [Bukhari, no. 73, and Muslim, no. 816] and Abu Hurairah [Abu Dawud, no. 4903].
