The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not sever ties with one another, do not turn your backs on one another, do not hate one another, and do not envy one another. Be servants of Allah as brothers. It is not lawful for a Muslim to shun his brother for more than three days."

قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تقاطعوا ولا تدابروا ولا تباغضوا ولا تحاسدوا وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا ولا يحل لمسلم أن يهجر أخاه فوق ثلاث
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Righteousness and Kinship Ties, chapter on the prohibition of mutual envy, mutual hatred, and mutual estrangement, no. 2559, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, and Bukhari, no. 6076, from the hadith of Zuhri, with similar wording.On this subject there are also narrations from Abu Bakr Siddiq [Ibn Majah, no. 3849], Zubayr bin Awwam [to come, no. 2510], Ibn Masud [this perhaps refers to the hadith of Bukhari, no. 73, and Muslim, no. 816], and Abu Hurairah [Abu Dawud, no. 4903].
