The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one who severs ties shall enter Paradise."Ibn Abu Umar said that Sufyan explained, "He means one who severs ties of kinship."
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر ونصر بن علي وسعيد بن عبد الرحمن قالوا حدثنا سفيان
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يدخل الجنة قاطع قال ابن أبي عمر قال سفيان يعني قاطع رحم
Graded as agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). Muslim narrated it in the Book of Righteousness and Kinship, Chapter on Maintaining Ties of Kinship and the Prohibition of Severing Them, hadith 2556, from Muhammad bin Abu Umar, and Bukhari narrated it, hadith 5984, from the hadith of Zuhri, through the same chain.
