The Prophet ﷺ said, "The one who serves drink to a group is the last among them to drink."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن ثابت البناني عن عبد الله بن رباح
عن النبي ﷺ قال ساقي القوم آخرهم شربا
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Mosques, chapter on making up a missed prayer and the recommendation of doing so promptly, hadith no. 681, from the hadith of Thabit through this same route.There is also a report on this topic from Ibn Abu Awfa [Abu Dawud, no. 3725].
