The Prophet ﷺ was brought milk that had been mixed with water. To his right was a Bedouin, and to his left was Abu Bakr. He drank, then gave it to the Bedouin and said, "The one on the right, then the next on the right."
حدثنا الأنصاري حدثنا معن حدثنا مالك قال و حدثنا قتيبة عن مالك عن ابن شهاب
أن النبي ﷺ أتي بلبن قد شيب بماء وعن يمينه أعرابي وعن يساره أبو بكر فشرب ثم أعطى الأعرابي وقال الأيمن فالأيمن
Its graded is agreed upon (muttafaq alayh). Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Drinks, chapter "The one on the right, then the one next to him, in drinking," hadith no. 5619, and Muslim, hadith no. 2029, both from the hadith of Malik through this same chain, and it is found in Muwatta 2/926.There are also reports on this subject from Ibn Abbas [Ibn Majah, hadith no. 3426], Sahl bin Saad [Bukhari, hadith no. 2351, and Muslim, hadith no. 2030], Ibn Umar [Abu Shaykh in Akhlaq al-Nabi ﷺ, p. 224], and Abdullah bin Busr [to come, no. 3576].
