The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade me from wearing garments made of qassi fabric and from using red saddle-cushions, and from wearing my ring on this finger or this one, pointing to the index finger and the middle finger.

Bukhari mentioned it as a suspended report in "Clothing," chapter 28, from the hadith of Asim bin Kulayb, with the same wording.
