The garment most beloved to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to wear was the hibarah.
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا معاذ بن هشام حدثني أبي عن قتادة
كان أحب الثياب إلى رسول الله ﷺ يلبسها الحبرة
Its authenticity was determined to be agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari related it in the Book of Dress, Chapter on Cloaks, Striped Garments, and Shawls, hadith no. 5813, and Muslim related it, hadith no. 2079, both from the hadith of Muaz bin Hisham with this same wording.
