The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No man who weeps out of fear of Allah will enter the Fire until milk returns to the udder, and the dust raised in the path of Allah and the smoke of Hell will never come together."
حدثنا هناد حدثنا ابن المبارك عن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله المسعودي عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن عن عيسى بن طلحة
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يلج النار رجل بكى من خشية الله حتى يعود اللبن في الضرع ولا يجتمع غبار في سبيل الله ودخان جهنم
[Sahih]. Nasai also recorded it, 12/6, no. 3110, jihad, chapter on the merit of one who works in the cause of Allah on foot, from Hannad, with the same wording. Jafar bin Awn narrated it from Masudi, with the same wording, and Hakim recorded it, 4/260, and he heard from Masudi before his confusion set in. Hakim graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith will come again at no. 2311, and it has corroborating narrations.
