The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever's feet become dusty in the path of Allah, those feet are forbidden to the Fire."
حدثنا أبو عمار الحسين بن حريث حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم عن يزيد بن أبي مريم قال لحقني عباية بن رفاعة بن رافع وأنا ماش إلى الجمعة فقال أبشر فإن خطاك هذه في سبيل الله سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ من اغبرت قدماه في سبيل الله فهما حرام على النار
Bukhari also narrated it in the chapter on Jumuah, section on walking to Jumuah, hadith no. 907, from the hadith of Walid bin Muslim through this same route.There is also a narration on this subject from Abu Bakr [Bazzar (Kashf Astar): 2/262, hadith no. 1660, 1661, and Marwazi in Musnad Abu Bakr, hadith no. 20, though its chain of transmission is very daif], and from a man among the companions of the Prophet [Ahmad: 5/225].
