Khuraym bin Fatik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever spends in the cause of Allah has it recorded for him at seven hundred times its value."

Darussalam

[Its chain of transmission is sahih]. Ibn Abu Shayba (5/318) also narrated it from Husayn bin Ali Jafi with the same chain. Nasai (6/49, no. 3188) narrated it from the hadith of Rukayn, and Ibn Hibban (no. 1647), Hakim (2/87), Dhahabi, and others graded it sahih.There is also a narration on this subject from Abu Hurairah [coming at no. 3674].
