Abu Dawud, no. 2750, and others also recorded it.On this topic there is also a report from Ibn Abbas, narrated by Thawri with the same wording.This hadith has a hasan corroborating witness in the hadith that follows it, no. 1561b, and from Habib bin Maslama [Abu Dawud, no. 2749, 2750], and from Maen bin Yazid [Abu Dawud, no. 2753, 2754], and from Ibn Umar [Bukhari, no. 3134, 3135, and Muslim, no. 1750, 1749], and from Salama bin Akwa [Bukhari, no. 3051, and Muslim, no. 1754, 1755].The hadith of Ibn Abbas was narrated by Ibn Majah, no. 2808, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Zinad, with the same wording.
