I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "What an excellent sacrifice the young lamb is!" He said, So the people rushed to grab them.
حدثنا يوسف بن عيسى حدثنا وكيع حدثنا عثمان بن واقد عن كدام بن عبد الرحمن عن أبي كباش قال جلبت غنما جذعانا إلى المدينة فكسدت علي فلقيت
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول نعم أو نعمت الأضحية الجذع من الضأن قال فانتهبه الناس
[Its chain is daif] Ahmad narrated it (2/444) from Waki, through this route, with Kidam and Abu Kibash, whom only Tirmidhi deemed reliable, so both are of unknown status.On this subject there is also a report from Ibn Abbas [Tabarani in Al-Kabir: 7/205, no. 11504 and no. 11561], from Umm Bilal bint Hilal, from her father [Ibn Majah, no. 3139], from Jabir [Muslim, no. 1963], from Uqba bin Amir [to come, no. 1500], and from a man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ [Abu Dawud, no. 2799].
