[Sahih]. Abu Dawud narrated it in Kitab al-Buyu, Bab fi Thaman al-Sinnawr, no. 3479, from the hadith of Isa bin Yunus with this same chain. It also has another route in Muslim, no. 1569, and Ibn Majah, no. 2161, from Jabir with this same chain. Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 580, as did Hakim (2/34) according to the standard of Muslim, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has corroborating narrations.
